Azacitidine also works by reducing refractory anemia or refractory anemia with ringed sideroblasts and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (cancers of the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow). Side effects:
The most common side effects of Azacitidine are:
Tiredness, redness/pain/bruising at the injection site, diarrhea, dizziness, trouble sleeping, constipation, nausea, vomiting, mouth sores, dry skin, headache, and loss of appetite. Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
