Febuxostat, (Febox) works for treating  is a xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitor, suitable for long-term treatment of hyperuricemia with gout symptoms. It’s a doctor prescription (Uloric/ Febuxostat) medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Febox tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effect:
The most common side effects of Febuxostat are:

Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out, heart attack symptoms–chest pain or pressure, pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder, fast heartbeats, shortness of breath, liver problems–stomach pain (upper right side), unusual tiredness, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes) or signs of a stroke–sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), sudden severe headache, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance.
