Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glivec tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effect:
The most common side effects of Imatinib are:
Upset stomach, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, headache, muscle/joint pain, muscle cramps, dizziness, blurred vision, or drowsiness. Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
